This 1798 Draped Bust Half Eagle Large 8, 13 Star Reverse is an attractive original example. This flashy coin has a beautiful light yellow golden to rich orange patina surfaces with luster gleaming through. There are some adjustment marks on the face from the Mint back in 1798. There was a mintage of 24,867 coins split up between 3 different varieties. PCGS has only graded 21 examples in AU50 and 78 in higher grades. This coin offers no apologies and will truly make any collector happy in hand.
